Into The Woods Cut characters

I was reading this playbill about into the woods and in it they said that in the early drafts of the play, The three little pigs and rumpelstiltskin were in it. I know that in the 2002 revival the pigs were there for a part of " Hello little girl " but does anyone know if they did more in the early drafts. I also wonder how rumpelstiltskin would fit in to the story. I've looked online but all I can find is interviews with Sondheim saying that they were in early drafts not what they did. If you have the answers I'd love to know.
