From what I have read its his first musical, I had a feeling that he had done stage work before but I cant seem to find anything about it!
I think i may try and see it, but i remain sceptical about Mr Jones

I thought it might be his first stage role too - couldn't find anything either...

I'd love to ask him how he finds the difference in performing on the football field and performing in the theatre.

Not convinced about the casting - but then he can be fun, and hold his own on film, though not sure I'd be brave enough to direct him!!

Vinnie Jones was to play Jeeves in the film of By Jeeves with Hugh Grant...but that doesn't seem to have come to anything.
