Hello,

I have been looking at Into The Woods with great detail..

it has such a truth behind it...

what are peoples views on how the characters develop and their relationships with the others???

I'd suggest checking out the Bruno Bettleheim book ("Uses of Enchantment?" The name is escaping me!) Sondheim & Lapine have both pointed to that as the source of a lot of the "Fairy Tale" sybolism. It's a bit of a dry read but I enjoyed "ITW" more after I read it.
