Introducing Erin Davie

Noticed this on the ads for APPLAUSE!

I understand Ebersole, Burton, and Cantone getting first billing.

But Erin Davie, who has had, in the span of a year, 2 high profile gigs (high profile, in terms of theater) gets billed after Megan Sikora, who while being talented, fewer people have heard of?

Unless the "introducing" line is in the spirit of the show, I guess I don't get their publicity tactic.

I thought it might be because she hasn't done Encores! before and I thought everyone else mentioned had. So, she's new to the Encores! program.

I'm guessing it's in the spirit of the show. I haven't seen the ad, which would make it easier for me to say. But obviously they're not "introducing" Erin Davie to the New York theater world.
