Hello everyone! I've been lurking on these boards for a really long time and have decided it's time to come out of hiding. My name is Lauren (obviously) and I'm a big Broadway geek, although due to stage fright I have never performed when it comes to dancing/singing. I've been playing the violin since I was very young and I hope to one day play on Broadway, but it's just a silly thing I like to dream about. :) And I have a few questions, I am going to attempt to rush a show for the first time on the Saturday of February 12. I was curious, if you wanted to Student Rush and you're in highschool can you? I don't have any type of card proving that I am in school and that seems to be mandatory so I am assuming not. And approximately how good are your chances on a Saturday for either an Avenue Q or Rent matinee? Thanks to anyone who can help! I hope to be posting on here often, have a great night everyone!
Hi! I don't know the answers to your questions, but Welcome and enjoy!

if you have something to prove your age, that should be enough.
Yeah a school I.D. or something like that should be fine. Welcome to the boards.
Just so you know no dream is silly. "Dreams are what makes life tolerable".
Thank you for joining and letting us know a little about yourself. I, too, don't know the answers to your questions, but wanted to say welcome.

Welcome...
Well, my high school gave us cards....so I guess you could use a regular idea for your age....or maybe some type of document with your name on it and your school's heading....?
Welcome, Lauren!
Willkommen.
Bienvenue.
Welcome!!
RENT rush is typically pretty quiet in February.
Good luck!
