I'm a little confused about "Bring it On: the Musical". Is this tour (and the current LA engagement) supposed to be a pseudo-out-of-town tryout, or does its team have no intention of bringing it to Broadway this season or next? Considering its unbeatable pedigree (Tom Kitt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jeff Whitty), it would be a real shame not to see it come to New York.

Having just seen it in LA I'm guessing it will come to Broadway. It plays like In The Heights Goes To High School and that's not a bad thing. The audience I saw it with loved it, no question.

I'd heard it was just tour bound... maybe popularity will bring it to Broadway.

I saw it last night. I thought it was a lot of fun- it still needs some work, especially in act 1 in my opinion, but the crowd seemed to eat it up. I think it could definitely be a successful crowd-pleaser in NY.

Has anybody heard anything about the tour adding more dates?
