Is "Pirate Queen" all sung musical ?

So there's a dialogue in between ? as oppose to " somewhat operatic " thoughout the whole play (musical)--that's interesting to know ! I thought Schonberg & Boubil (like AL- Webber) always do that style with all their musicals. Thanks for info-J*

I'd have to disagree Josephine. I think there is quite a bit of dialogue, although probably 90% of that dialogue is underscored with music.

I could have thought there was more than you did because in it's original incarnation there was basically zero spoken dialogue.

Queenbee2, I see what you're saying. I wasn't counting the recitative as dialogue, though maybe I should.
