He did the LA production but there is a castting notice on AEA.com which says his role is not cast yet.
He was great in LA, as was Rifkin.
The play is long and needs to be trimmed from three acts to two.
I was pissed about the Paris Letter. It was almost EXACTLY the two weeks I wasn't in Los Angeles.
I really have to say that "The Paris Letter" will need to make so big cuts if it comes to New York. It is three acts and feels like it. It can and should be cut down to two.
The acting was very good, though. NPH was excellent, and I would be very dissapointed if he didn't come to New York.
Ditto Rifkin.
Though it is long, I don't see a need for it to be shortened. I wasn't bored even a second, and the 3 act format was appropriate for the piece. I loved (was enthralled and moved by) this play! Neil P. H. was great. Besides, many in the audience (including myself) enjoyed his full frontal moments. He dedicated this performance 4DB, which many assume to be 4 David Burtka.

sorry, but who's david burtka??
David Burka is Neil's Boyfriend. NEIL HAD FULL FRONTAL?!?!?! AND I MISSED IT!!! Now it better come to NYC.
Well, I wasn't going to GOSSIP, but it does appear that Mr. Harris and Mr. Burtka are an item. And he was naked for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. If you were house left you would have gotten a longer (no pun intended) view of the front (though I read that it was somewhat in the shadows). Where I was front house right, I got a very nicely lit back view. Then he sat on a table with his leg hiding the package, but I did thank my lucky stars when he stood up right in front of me to put on his robe and I got a very nice glimpse! I am FOREVER envious of you...well, not forever envious if he is in it in NY and I see it. But until then, I am envious. I want to ask details, but I am guessing the post wouldn't remain on this board, so I guess I won't bother...

NPH was my first ever Mark in RENT way back in 98...dreamysigh.
He is the second-most-loved love of my life. So if he isn't gay, I will have a breakdown.
