re: Is this who I think it is?

It's Fox News and poorly written...I wouldnt believe a thing I read there.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."

"In Oz, the verb is douchifizzation." PRS

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-

"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

I would think it's Riedel, but it's fox and Murdoch owns the Post, so it doesn't make sense that they would trash their own people.
But then again ITS FOX, and I wouldn't put anything past them!
Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

I don't think there's many rules in the Murdoch view of journalism.

I would think it's Riedel

Of course it is.

p.s. That's why the paragraph is headed Broadway Riddle.

Well one of the best ways to get the dirt from actors and other theatre "insiders" is to get drunk with them...

I have seen Reidel many times at Angus and he never appears drunk.

Or it could be Clive. But he writes for the NYP too.

re: Is this who I think it is?

Smelling alcohol on somone's breath is not an indicator that they are drunk. It means they had a drink. It doesn't take much. It's not much of a blind item other than saying someone has a drink before they attend a show. And since Riedel is not a critic, it only points out that he does what many theatregoers do. True or not, it's certainly an item worthy of Riedel in tone and intent.
