Has anyone else checked out I channel?
I've been a regular viewer since it started, and was excited to see the series get a little press on bww (here: https://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=27985). It's such a fun concept -- I hope more people start watching, and COMMENTING. It's so much fun to see something you contributed show up in the series!
The latest episode is up now at https://www.youtube.com/ichannel

Ahem...! Replying to just the original question...I believe so
All kidding aside, my life has been flowered by many erratic and unusual events, so I say, yes. Would I ever write about it...? Perhaps...but at the moment I am still living one of those erratic moments in my life, so I'll catch up with all later =I

LOL! But can you imagine your life being video-cast for everyone to see ... and comment upon? I's in quite a predicament in this show -- especially when his romantic life becomes complicated. Did you check it out? They've been known to cast fans of the show in it -- maybe you're destined to share your unusual and erratic life with I's
Playbill.com's got an article about the series here, too:

I can't wait until tomorrow to see if something I commented on drives the story again!
maybe, i'm just tired, but I'm not sure I really grasp the concept from those articles. Anyone care to elaborate?

I think of the series as part Truman Show, part Lonely Girl and part make-your-own adventure. Basically "I" (Michael Izquierdo's character) woke up to find his life was being video-cast without his permission. He got a blackberry-like gizmo that receives messages and videos from his audience -- and within the context of each new show, the messages are comments from viewers of the previous episode. They help to drive what happens next each new episode. I've had my comments used a few times, and it's just so cool to see your own suggestion drive the action.
You can check out the series itself at http://www.youtube.com/ichannel <- that link has all 39 episodes so far linked. Start at the beginning if you want it to make sense! They've also got a board/forum at www.connectwithi.com.
ah okay, thanks. I will definitely check it out.

kayjay, NO! I could not want to EVEN imagine!!!
As someone who is adamant about "reality" (yeah, sure...like they are "so" real)shows, I think these would be my reactions:
First, I would totally freak out :O !
Second, I would find a way to "hide out" from view! =I
Then, I would get myself a good lawyer, and sue for not having been asked to sign a "release" form in order to film me! :{
There!
However, the show does sound interesting, and I like what you said about how they use the viewers' comments. I should try some!
BTW, it is good to see Sebastian Arcelus as an associate producer of the show...what a great move for him (besides the fact that he is so gorgeous!)
I shall try to catch some episodes, soon...
Oh, so...where are they casting...?

Seb's featured in the series, too, as I's brother. I'm a big fan of his, and this series really has me wanting to check out some of Michael Izquierdo's work, too. I'm keeping my eye on him! (And "I's" girlfriend "iGirl" is in that new Shyamalan movie - you can see her in the trailer, even.)
I hope you do check it out. "I" went through a lot of the same reaction you just had. Bet you'll get a kick out of it
