I really think it's time for a Pippin revival. Not as a movie, because all movie musicals have been using Chicago's success as an excuse to produce poor versions of musicals (referring to the ones made since Chicago of course).
Pippin is a really great show some excellent thematic elements. I'd love to see a dark, sexual production with an updated sound.
And I think Barret Foa would make a nice Pippin.
Just something for discussion.

Thank you, so is yours.
I like how you referenced Les Mis in your username. Thats very creative. You know I don't think anyone has done that before, really I think you're the first. Did you take a long time to come up with that or did your natural genius just figure that out? Because I like how you've taken the character name and paired it with your sex, and it's clever because they both start with "G". Wow, I'm impressed, really I am.
Anyway, sorry I did not introduce myself. I have been lurking here on the boards for quite a while and finally decided to join. I didn't recall ever seeing the thread of Pippin so I just posted away...my apologies. Did anyone see the original show? I saw the video, and though it was a bit dated, I could see it doing well in a small revival, similar to the 2000 Godspell.
And thanks again for the comment on my username. I am still astounded by your wit and genius.
