I have to come out, Sueleen. I got comps to this years and years and years ago. And when you get comps it means you're placed all the way at the back table at the reception. And even though I made fun of the whole idea of T n T and their wedding and was sort of aghast that I was going to the show at all, my friend and I went and had a fun time and we still quote some of the things that Tina said to us.
When she and her mother came to visit our table I made sure to place myself squarely into the story by outing Tina's brother. I told her that I and my "gentlemen companion" thought her brother looked familiar and that we had seen him before. "Where?" she axed. "Places," I replied, cryptically. "What kinda places?" she said, leaning into my face. "You know, places where gentlemen go to have a good time." Classy chick that she is, Tina threatened me and said, "Keep it down, wouldjya, my mutha don't know and she ain't gonna find out neither."
I guess that show brought me and my gentlemen companion a great deal of pleasure because we still laugh at the memories. And believe me, I'd be the last to have expected that.
Oh Tony and Tinas is a hoot. Especially if you have had a couple. ( Well ok... more than a couple). I had a great time but I also went with a grouip from the gay and lesbian center.
And let me guess...they were all....HUSSIES
