When I attended the Cy Coleman concert in the Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre in October 2002, Coleman and the cast perfromed a great new song called "It Started With A Dream", which was billed as from a new musical with music by CC, lyrics by David Zippel and book by Wendy Wasserstein called "Pamela's First Musical". (And it's sung by Liias White and Cy Coleman on Coleman's solo CD of the same name.) I've heard no more about it - and as Coleman now has his show "Like Jazz" in LA and Zippel is working on "The Woman In White" with ALW, I assume that "Pamela" has disappeared into oblivion.
Does anyone know anything about the fate of this show?

Posted: 12/26/03 at 1:37pmi'm also very interested in the status of this show. i haven't heard anything from the score, but admire the creative team (as well as the potential of the synopsis) very much.
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.
