Congratulations to Donna and Shawn Elliott on their adoption of a Guatemalan baby girl. After so much heartache trying to carry a child to term over the last few years, this is indeed good news. Wonderful.

Thank God. Otherwise, it would have been really unfortunate for the biological mother. I find that orphan children are the best for adopting!

First of all, for a public message board, that's a VERY personal way to phrase very personal info. Creepy. But, that's your style.

Secondly, either this is extremely old news or this is a second adoption.

and as far as I know,(I work for a family member) they have one beautiful little girl.

Go Donna! I'm a Guatemalan orphan who was adopted by American parents, so this story holds a special meaning for me.
