Well, I have no clue what the finished product will look like, but I can tell you there was parade of excited people at Lenape PAC in Marlton, NJ. Mostly the cast, orchestra, crew.
I had a brief chat with both leading ladies Kate Shindle & Lauren Kennedy and their talented understudy Victoria Matlock, as well as a long chat with Rob Evan. All are hyped up for this event. Frank Wildhorn was as busy as 10 people but still had a bit of time to sit with me.
They have brought in a 30 piece orchestra as well as a band from NYC and they sounded amazingly on the "edge of rock" with some of the numbers. I "finagled" the song list from someone,who will remain unknown. Sets are minimal, but effective.
Several "jekkies" are schedueled to be there this weekend as well as some of the creative team.
I will post the review and interviews after I see it on Fri.
