I went to Jersey Boys a second time last week and just wanted to post how fantastic J Robert Spencer is.
I hope he gets a Tony nomination.
He deserves it.

I also agree. All 4 guys are excellent and I hope they are all recognized with Tony nominations. Each of their characters is so distict and I'd hate to see one left out. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. J. Robert Spencer is certainly a talent and I'm always pleased to see his committed performance in JERSEY BOYS.

Aww...I love Bobby. I was so sad when he got left out of the Drama Desk nominations. Hopefully the Tonys will make up for that. He so deserves one.

I agree he's great and extremely handsome. I doubt he'll get a nomination, but it's more to do with his role than his talent. It's not the kind of big showy part that gets noticed. He does wonderful things but they're more subtle.

I loved him in Jersey Boys. I agree that the role isn't really big enough for him to be nominated, but he still certainly deserves to. He was great in the show and a really nice guy at the stage door.

Bobby Spencer deserves a nomination! It's unfair that he was left out.

He's such a nice guy, and a great actor and singer.

He's my favorite in the cast! I'm used to him not getting as much recognition as the other three, but I love to watch him in the show and think he is wonderful! I wish he got a little extra chance to sing on his own, but his scene work, especially in his "season" is great. Glad to see I'm not the only one loving the "Ringo"!

Bobby does get the least love... and he is just as great as the rest of them. If you haven't heard his solo stuff go to his website because he has the most AMAZING voice which he never gets to showcase in the show. Not to mention he has to be one of the sweetest guys ever! Love Bobby... and the rest of the boys too... but Bobby needs to love since everyone else gets it more often :)

I love J. Robert Spencer - he's my very fave Jersey Boy!

When I saw the show back in February, I had a 'big fight' with one of my hotel roomies, because she said 'negative' things about J. ???

Needless to say, I showed her the right way.

Thank you to Corine2 for starting this thread.

Some of this is 'sort of' true - but the real truth is that J. Robert Spencer is definitely my FAVE!

Also I met his understudy at Daniel Reichard's concert.
He is also a dream. He played a few smaller roles and he is excellent also.

Sharing the love! 'Uncle Nick' IS very talented. I still need to check out his website.

That's sad that he feels he is Ringo...but hey, it took all four guys to make the Beatles the group that they were. Same with JB.

There is so much friggin talent up there on one stage.
