In a list that was updated on 8/25/07 and is currently linked on their homepage, JERSEY BOYS is listed as having a Student Rush Policy.

Random, but when did Blonde start checking them at the theatre when you entered? They didn't check mine a few weeks ago.

The student tix have always been stamped with the red 'must show student id upon entry' stamp, but the first time I actually experienced having to do so was at Kritzer's last (back on 8/12).

Which, if scalpers re-selling the student tix was such the big worry at Jersey Boys, I don't get why JB can't do the same thing- the LB ticket scanners only ask for one student id per two student tickets presented to them, and I think it added maybe all of 5 seconds to the entry process.

Huh. I'll have to go find mine, but I don't remember seeing it. Weird. Oh well. It's not like I'm planning on getting up early to rush it again any time soon. ;P

Oh yeah, and also the guy who runs the Legally Blonde lobby in the morning (whose name I am totally blanking on right now) makes an announcement to the rush line, before the ticket buying starts, that you *will* have to show your student id in order to enter the theatre.

But yeah, apparently it's the new way there.

Jersey Boys rush is not back. Playbill.com never even took it off the list. The list was updated before Aug. 25th and it was after they had taken away the student rush, so they just never removed it.

I hope it's not back and that they just implement a lotto.

Though I did pass by the theater at around 10AM today and saw a lot of student types outside the theater.

i am going to do the lottery for ave. q or rent but i want to find this out for myself, because i want to get tickets for my dad as a suprise for him so yeah
