Yes, actually! Finn Wolfhard has been the front-man for Canadian rock band Calpurnia and is now one-half of The Aubreys (also plays guitar, bass, and piano); Caleb McLaughlin did opera at Glimmerglass and made his professional debut as Young Simba in The Lion King on Broadway (also has one Off-Broadway role under his belt); and Sadie Sink has done a ton of regional theater and was in the Lapine revival of Annie.

It's been popping up everywhere regionally and there was a big concert/production recently in NYC.

If there was any appetite for it, it'd be now.

That's a matter of opinion, not fact, and many people (myself included) are thrilled this revival is crossing the pond. If you don't like the show that's fine, just don't go see it. Why do people feel the need to crap over things that other people like?
