Jamie De Roy Benefit

I was very impressed with her benefit.
Harris Doran, Euan Morton and Kathy Brier stole the show.
They are all so talented.

Yeah, they were all really good.

I wish Harris had gotten to do two songs, but that first really gave him a chance to show off, so I guess I can't complain.

Kathy's songs really suited her voice very well.

And before I get attacked by all the crazy Euan fans, he was great, too.

Harris was great.
But Kathy is in her own league. I really was impressed with all of them.
Kathy made me cry. She really is a talented singer.
Brava, Kathy, Euan and Harris.

Definitely not.

Here's the best I can do (we all know how good I am at these things):

Jamie DeRoy - Some song that I should remember, but don't
Harris Doran - Song I don't know if I should know the name of, but let him crazy high notes, so I don't really care about the name
Kathy Brier - Sh*t, I KNOW I know this song, but can't remember it, followed by "I Want to Be a Rockette" (which may or may not be the actual name of the song)
Jamie DeRoy - "One" from ACL
The woman who wrote "From a Distance" - A new song she wrote, followed by "From a Distance"
Comic guy - Standup
Jamie and Harris - "Duane Reade" (Yes, like the store)
Euan Morton - Some song and that Carpenters song "don't you remember you told me you loved me, baby..."

Kathy's first song was Guns 'n' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine".

Both of her songs were really perfect for her, she definitely rocked...they all did.

Kathy made me cry too, Corinne. She never ceases to blow me away, she's unbelievable. And one of the biggest sweethearts you'll ever meet.

Euan Morton has a fan in me for life now, especially since he sang my favorite song of all time, "Superstar".

Hope to see Kathy on Broadway again soon.
She is incredible!
