Okay... so a while ago I was on ebay looking around for Jane Horrocks as I adore her and loved 'little voice'. I noticed that there was a dvd of her and Alan Cummings doing Cabaret for sale. I thought perhaps it was a bootleg so I did not want to bid on it seeing as it could have been crap-o-la

So anyway, I was on a certain website and found clips of the show with her and Alan Cummings. It was shot professionally! Like it was meant for the tele or something....Is this true? And if it is... does anyone have a copy of it?

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

It was shot for British tv and, as far as I know, only aired once. I'd heard rumors it was to be released on dvd but - again, as far as I know - those plans were scrapped. I haven't seen it in a good seven or eight years, but I remember hating Jane Horrocks, and I'm generally a fan of hers.

i have both the Donmar DVDs of cabaret and Company. Both are stunning but because of British TV rights both will never be seen on TV again. I watched Company last week and it is amazing. Cabaret!....well

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'
