"She accompanied her mother to see Broadway shows as a child, and the experience grabbed her, never letting go.
Now she is the one on the stage.
"I have been very lucky in my career," she said.
That career will expand to include a role in the upcoming Muppets Christmas special "Letters to Santa: A Muppets Christmas."
"I've always wanted to work with Kermit," she said, laughing."
