Jane Krakowski as Gittel Mosca: Could it work??

Does anyone else think that Jane Krakowski would make a wonderful Gittel Mosca in Seesaw. Couldn't you just see her portray the wanna-be dancer waif from Brooklyn? I think she could be amazing in this role. Encores! could do it with Tommy Tune, the original associate choreographer and David (1974 Tony winner) in the show AND Miss Krakowski's Grand Hotel director, could direct and choreograph. Does this sound like a good idea?
