Brilliant. I love it. This boy needs to write himself and Broadway another book musical. L5Y is great, but we NEED MORE GOOD COMPOSERS LIKE HIM!!!!

I love him so much as well. I think he is brilliant. His music is so moving but his lyrics hit home. I love him. My college is doing Parade in it's next season and did Songs 3 years ago and had been talking about L5Y but it doesn't really suit a college with it's cast size.

It's unfortunate this is his only real attempt at a book musical so far. I love his music, but most of all his ability to set his lyrics. He's really excellent at that.
I hope he takes a crack at another show soon. I don't know that I'd call Parade a masterpiece but, for his his first produced work on Broadway, it'll be hard to top.

i just got the cd awhile ago..i love it! beautiful music...it don't make sense is my favorite song..sad it had such a short run

It's one of my favorite musicals and probably one of my favorite shows that I've been in.
