NOB88, I was just coming on here to say that I stand corrected. I saw some faces on my fellow Houston reviewers that seemed to indicate a severe distaste for the show, but it got generally good notices in Houston. What can I say, as the city that birthed JEKYLL & HYDE, most of us still love the show (even in an altered version)!

I have a feeling some critics (and posters in this thread) would even rip this video apart. I like the guy (and his work)...a lot.

DEClarke - Great review! I agree with pretty much everything you wrote. The critics in New York will probably (and sadly) tear this apart though since it is a Frank Wildhorn show through and through. I thought the sense of direction was extremely focused and resulted in an incredibly sharp and spot on production. I can seriously go on and on about how much I absolutely ADORED this production...

Sorry, had to ask this on a semi-related note: Does anyone know where in NYC (with the exception of the 2 B'way gift shops) I can actually purchase the hard copy of the new concept album? I saw it is on iTunes but neither Barnes & Noble nor Best Buy have it even listed. Thanks.
