did people forget this show? it was brilliant! Tonya, Gregory Hines wonderful lyrics and music, great staging... they don't make 'em like they used too

I recently learned that Jelly's Last Jam was produced by an Alumna of my small college, who was a Humanistic Studies major (just like me!) Due to this, I now have to purchase the recording. And then I have to look this woman up and ask her about her life story. Should be fun.

I never saw it, but the recording is quite good. I got it because Tonya Pinkins was on it. :)

Thats one of the recordings on my list of cds to get! I tell ya,its great how one show (Caroline) can introduce you to a host of other shows.
