ok, how long is Aveune Q? i dont really remember but yesterday when i saw SPAMALOT, while i was waiting for Hank Azaria to come out and DHPierce and such, i saw Jennifer Barnhart walk by. She Kind of look over to see who was coming out and laugh and walked along. I was in shock that she would just walk by like that. i thought about stoping her but i couldnt reach her in time. this also reminded me of the time when i saw Little SHop and Saw Harvey walking to The Neil Simon, he stopped and talked to someone across the street (by the Virgina Theatre) Nobody was stopping him or not even sure if they knew who he was, but i was too shy i guess and didnt go up to him, my excuse was i didnt want to interupt his conversation.to this day i will regret that. has this ever happen to anybody?
when i went to see millie i was walking down towards the imperial (my mom attempted to stage door hugh jackman...didn't work out) i ran into jenn and john tartaglia who were walking down the street, both signed my millie poster and put little q's after their names... they were both so excited that someone recognized both of them out of context
Avenue Q is 2 hours and 15 minutes long.
And I'm not surprised that happened to you. Shubert Alley is a virtual maze of Broadway performers. In one day I ran into the three from SPAMALOT, Jackie Mason, Jeff Goldblum, and Edie Falco in the Alley.
What if I topped all this by saying that on Thursday, I rode home from NYC on the train to Boston sittin next to Rachel Dratch from SNL.

When i was waiting for Dame Edna, lol. Gavin Creel walked by and Uma Thurman, and a few more people who really, i saw so many, i forget.

I was on my way to the Nederlander Theatre for the RENT lottery when Frenchie Davis comes from the opposite direction. I had to stop her and say hello.
I passed Hunter once on the way to AQ, I think.
Not to mention seeing Mary Bond Davis at Andre's show.
Princeton...tell us more tell us more!!!

I've been waiting for a good time to post this, so thank you for sitting next to her. Has anyone else noticed how much Rachel Dratch looks like Barbara Bryne?

I will acknowledge your comment, because I hate it when people "ignore" you.
Yes, the look alike. LOL.

As much as I love her, she really isn't that large a celeb.
Agreed...but enough to be surprised when she just walks by. When you're seen by millions on TV every week...I think it's a big deal. I'd be surprised.

Definitely enough to be suprised...she just said she was suprised that she was just walking down there like that.
Did you expect her to come out of a limo with a horde of bodyguards?
Jen is a sweetheart..I have spoken to her twice after Avenue Q and at one of the Avenue Q "Empty Handed" performances she, John, and Stephanie did last summer. She came into the ladies room while my friend and I were there early to pick up our tickets..and she remembered us from meeting her at Avenue Q because we have friends from the same town in which she grew up.

I cannot wait to finally meet her next Sunday!
I am also going to see her in At This Performance.
Well, what can I say about Rachel Dratch? She was a doll. Very quiet, sweet and humble.
