Saw Hairspray Saturday...Jen Gambetese's second to last show! It was amazing as usual. I wasn't impressed with the new Corny Collins however. He seemed a little bored. Anyway, Jen is absolutly the sweetest person ever, and I wish her well in her future.

I was at Jenn's Last show on Sunday it was an awesome performance as well! There where a lot of ad libs form Chestier and Jackie that if you know the show and what Jenn was leaving for you would get.

I really really hope the new show goes well for her!! She really deserves it!

I agree with you on the new Corny, but there is a differe replace ment I like not like less then him.

I also say Hairspray tonight, the show is definitely, definitely! not the same without her. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Jen has an amazingly bright future ahead of her. I never knew she could belt the way she does until Hairspray, and there are a lot of roles she could do really well in----Millie, anyone? Anyway, I wish her luck in her future shows. She deserves success.

I'm looking forward to seeing Penny #2 in ALL SHOOK UP. And it's Gambatese. Don't want to piss off those former Hairspray girls!! HAHA

Brooke was the shows female swing and a Penny and Amber u/s she took over as Penny and the vacation swing Jennie Ford took over Brookes Job.


And if you noticed phantom I changed the e to an A in the tittle to show it was different.

And if we are getting technical she spells it Jenn with 2 N's :)

Here is my little recap of Jenn's last show:

Well, it was a performance like another performance, Tracy Jai was out and Katharine Leonard went on as Amber (she did a great job). There was an u/s for Lil Inez she was a swing from the tour.

They didn't have an announcement at the end of the show that Jenn was leaving (I guess because she is a replacement and technically has already left the show before). But the cast did add in there own ad-libbed lines here and there about leaving.

For example: at the end of Run and Tell that, Seaweed: OH Penny, even if you meet Elvis and you get "All Shook Up" you gotta gotta gotta run and tell that! ~ "Run and Tell That"

or during Without love when Prudey is tying up Penny she made one of the ropes for abandoning her mother.

Also after Jackies improve (which was "I know it's Easter but come one let a Jew Pass over" Jenn said her line "I'm a pretty girl mama" and Jackie said Yeas you are a little trashy but pretty" then she hugged Seaweed and as she was doing to she went back to an Easter Joke "he has rizien"

It was a good show and I'm really gonna miss Jenn in it but I'm hoping that she comes across or has already come across ("All Shook Up") bigger and better things in her not so distant future!

I'm very glad I went to see it!
