Does anyone know why Jennifer's contract is not a year's run? But an uneven 11 months? Does she have anything lined up for future projects? Why couldn't she extend till June, and make it a year?

"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

In an early interview, Jennifer stated that there was the possibility of an extension but, more than likely, she would leave after the eleven months to return home and take care of her new child. I'm sure she'll return to theatre once her son enters school and such. Who can blame her?

Posted: 4/22/05 at 5:28amShe did extend it until the end of May, to depart with Carole Shelley and George Hearn (it was supposed to expire end of April). Her son is still really young, but I, for one, hope she comes back to the stage soon!
If you really want to help the American theater, don't be an actress, dahling. Be an audience.....
Don't be taken in by the guff that critics are killing the theater. Commonly they sin on the side of enthusiasm. Too often they give their blessing to trash...
