I am a big Rent head and seeing Jeremy Kushiner in Jersey Boys and in Rent (from the pic) is kinda weird
I wished I could have seen him as Roger....from RENT but it's always a treat to see him onstage....and see his piercing blue eyes :P

I saw him in RENT and he was GREAT and I also saw him in the National Tour of AIDA..and he was GREAT in both.
Saw him as Roger in the World Tour of RENT in Hong Kong... he was amazing but I felt that he was ABIT too old, still great tho!

and dont forget ... he originated the role of Ren McComack in
"Footloose" at the Richard Rodgers Theater in 1998- I was barely a teenager then =)

Wow! Thanks for reminding me that :P

You know, I could be totally sarcastic here considering the OP, but I'm not going to because Jeremy's Roger was a force of nature. I saw him as Roger four or five times and he blew me away every time. He and Matt Caplan had an incredible natural chemistry -- they were so much fun to watch. I was there closing night of the Benny tour six (!) years ago and it was one of the most memorable theatrical experiences of my life. The laughter! The tears! Jeremy SOBBING over Dominique Roy during the finale. Holy cow.
Sounds cheesy, but totally true.
Amazing!! I wished I could have seen the SF/LA/Broadway cast members in other plays before JB. Jeremy is as down-to-earth as they come, not to mention also being ultra talented. Before the performances I attend at the Curran, I always see Jeremy hanging out in front of the stage door area and just being accommodating to the fans that recognize him.
I just enjoy his portrayal of Tommy DeVito in JB so much that he gets me rolling with the one liners as Deven May and Christian Hoff have done playing Tommy's character. It's a pleasure to have met him, and for the time and consideration Jeremy has given my family and I after the shows.
too bad I was a raging fundamentalist back then...I missed out on the fun :P

ruthiefan_felix, Jeremy is not much older than 30! How is that too old, especially if it was a couple of years ago that you saw him. :)
I first saw him almost ten years ago in the Canadian cast of Rent where he was a swing. Although I loved his Roger, I liked his Mark even more. Saw him several times in Footloose and AIDA, and of course, during his run at the Nederlander in Rent. Have also seen him in a couple of workshop productions which haven't gone too far. Looking forward to seeing him in JB.
I would've LOVED to have seen Jeremy as Mark. :) What was he like?

This cast will then be moving to Chicago for a sit down production of the show set to open beginning of Oct. I can tell you that I will be there for now until May of next year.
