Jerry Herman songs

I am going to a musical theatre camp this summer and I apparently need a Jerry Herman song to "audition" the first night I am there... any ideas of a song I could sing? I am an alto that is probably most not be categorized as classical. I had the Seasons of Love female solo... if that is any indication to what type of voice I have. Thanks for all of your help... and pm me if I completely confused you.. [FYI: I don't have a computer and so I don't know how long it will be before I can pm you back but thanks in advance for understanding]

It's apparently the theme for the musical theatre camp I am going to this year... we're even going to go watch La Cage too. I don't know why they chose him, but I guess they have a theme every year.

You're going to watch La Cage? Is there a production being staged somewhere, or do you mean the movie?

def. "So long dearie" from Hello Dolly, its a great and fun song and you can really show a powerhouse voice of any type
