possibly, but it remains to be seen if the DVD would be available/viewable in the US...
I just hope someone in the UK records it. **hint hint hint**

The word last week was that the producers were aiming for a Broadway run sometime in the Spring of 2006, so, no, this BBC production won't be made available in the US until sometime long after that (and any DVD/VHS would be coded for Region 2 and thus unplayable in American machines -- unless you have a multi-system machine, of course).
Lots of new machines will play other region formats, now. And they are the same price. So if it were to go on DVD, just buy it at amazon.co.uk and you'll be able to watch it.

It doesn't mean there'll be a DVD release at all. It took a year for Our House to be put on DVD from its initial recording.

1) It would only be available through amazon.co.uk, not the US amazon site, since the US site doesn't carry Region 2 DVDs
2) Yes, multi-region players are very inexpensive these days, BUT they aren't nearly as common as you suggest. 99% of the DVD players that you will find in a typical US electronics store WILL NOT play a PAL formatted DVD. If you didn't specifically buy a multi-region DVD player (there aren't that many brands that carry them) then you WILL NOT be able to play that Jerry Springer DVD on your machine.
I have a multi-region player..
YAY for me!
