JLY is just great. Period.
I'd say the best song in the show is Dawn (Go Away), because I love when you're viewing it from backstage, and the flashing lights are going off.
And I also loveeee Cry For Me.

sorry, worded my phrase wrongly. "walk like a man" is my FAVORITE song on the cast recording, but i don't know what the BEST song in the show is yet. :) sorry

Posted: 4/22/06 at 10:27amHard to choose just one favorite song in the show, but I have to agree that "Dawn (Go Away)" is the best number. The staging and lights are phenomenal and the drums in that song are amazing too (even on the CD).

Wickedrocks...hope you enjoyed the show and I would love to know what you thought of it.
Gotta agree with Dawn and Cry For Me (love when Daniel stands at the end while still playing the piano...) I'm also a sucker for Ragdoll, I just love how they rise up to the stage (and also when you're sitting in the front row you can peak down below and see the guys waiting...so cute). Ahhh...this show just kills me. Like broadway betty said...it makes me happier than happiest happiness or something like that.

JLY is wonderful. And such a sweet, kind and down to earth guy.
I also adore Daniel Reichard. I have never met him, but I adored his one man show at the Ars Nova. 
What a voice they both have. (Additionally, Daniel was fantastic in Forbidden Broadway)

"Cry for me" is the song in the show that makes me hold my breath and rest on the shoulder of whoever I'm with. Hmm...wonder why? There aren't any details yet about May 22nd but NPG and I are so there! I wish I could've seen Daniel in FB but my little brother found this flyer at our grandparents last week and it made my day!

In case you guys couldn't tell, that's Daniel in the Lion King costume with the saucepan and Mickey Mouse doll on his head. LOL Maybe I'll make it bigger so you can see him better...
WickedRocks wrote her review of JB yesterday and said that Daniel is going to get a lot more roles in the future. I knew it but it just makes me happy to hear someone else say it, too. Honestly, you can plug the boy into any leading male role and he'd be great.

Ok...being a California girl, I didn't think I'd enjoy anything more than Drowsy. I just flew back from New York, and must admit that I LOVED JERSEY BOYS! I also saw Sweeney and loved it too! Those three have my vote for Best Musical(My vote changes by the minute). Thanks for all the love on this thread....your posts made me pay through the nose for last minute tickets....but I loved it!
