Does JLY do Wednesday Matinees? I am going next week and I want to know if he's going to be there because other than me wanting to meet him I want my friend to meet him too!
If you know, that's great!
BTW, do Daniel Reichard and Christian Hoff do matinees too?

Posted: 1/17/07 at 4:17pmChristian and Daniel generally do, John does not. You'll most likely see Michael Longoria. I haven't seen him as Frankie, but I've heard him. He sounds fantastic, and he's a major sweetheart.

good! I love sweethearts! :-P
I met JLY, so it's alright. :) I want to see Christian badly. I don't know why but I will be depressed if he's sick.
I heard that Michael is pretty good, so I am happy. :)

Posted: 1/17/07 at 6:19pmMichael Longoria has been doing the matinee performances of Jersey Boys since late last fall, so you'd be seeing him as Frankie Vallie. I've seen both him and JLY and Michael really is just wonderful -- he's no JLY in my opinion, but he definitely holds his own and fits wonderfully in those shoes. But I did miss his Joe Pesci, lol.

Posted: 1/18/07 at 10:19amI saw Matthew Scott in JLY's role last November. He was pretty cute. Still no JLY though. Michael Longoria did Joe Pesci then.

Posted: 1/18/07 at 12:40pmMichael Longoria was fantastic as Frankie Valli when I saw him last August. The only down side to him playing Valli, is that usually the understudy filling in for him as Pesci isn't as good. I saw Matthew Scott as Pesci, and hated him as Pesci. He was all hunched over, and he looked to big for the Pesci costume.
