I was wondering for anyone who has seen Jersey Boys recently, how you got your tickets... I really want to see the show before Sebastian Arcelus leaves on 1/11 (I've heard good things) but I don't want to pay >130 on Bwaybox. I know there is Standing Room but I don't mind paying around 60 so I have a seat. Has JB been on TKTS recently? Do you think it would be on tonight (tuesday)? Any other thoughts I am not thinking of? THANKS
Jersey Boys is never on TKTS. It sells capacity or near capacity at full price every week.
They do have SRO tix that go on sale 2 hours prior to curtain (someone correct me if I am wrong). They may have a cancellation line (never seen or tried to see the show, so someone else would know more), but if so, it usually can only land you the top price $120 orchestra seats.

Is it really never on TKTS? I could have sworn I have seen it up there every now and then...? Yeah, I might head to the BO and see if there is a cancellation line. I can't believe how well JB is still selling 3 years later! Great for them, bad for me :)
JERSEY BOYS is NEVER on TKTS.
All tickets sold are full price, and it has been that way for about three and a half years now.
The cancellation line is always a possibility. I lucked out the one time I saw JB on Broadway and got a nice orchestra seat. Good luck!
If you don't mind seat location, JB sells $62 tickets for Rear Orchestra (W-ZZ) and Rear Mezzanine (N-Q).
$62 Tickets are available for Tues, Wed and Thr performances from Jan. 6 to Mar. 29.
The rear mezz is really not bad at that theater. I was there for the tommy reunion concert and thought it would have been a great view for Jersey Boys.
Hmm, I don't recall rear orch for $62.
I did cancellation line last summer on July 4th for an added 2 pm matinee performance. I was there around 9 am for SRO and there were about 7 people in front of me; however, I decided to see what I could get at the box office at 10 am, and I was the first to do so. On the day of the show, they release unsold broker/hotel package tickets at the box office for regular price. These aren't necessarily cancellation tickets, but you have a chance at snagging some really good seats. I got 6th row center. The next person to line up for regular box office tickets was at around 9:45 am. I don't know if times would be different for other days, since I went on a holiday for an added performance.
