I read an article that I think I got the link from on here that said something about the Jersey Boys Tour coming to Chicago in October. The article made it sound like the tour would be starting in Chicago in October, but the official tour website shows it opening in San Francisco in December and BroadwayInChicago.com has no information at all about Jersey Boys coming here. With October being just 8 days away, is Jersey Boys coming to Chicago in October 2007? Anyone know any info??

From the Jersey Boys Blog Web site:

Chicago Tribune theatre critic Chris Jones reports that Jersey Boys, the musical biography of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons that became the biggest musical hit of the 2005-06 Broadway season, will open at the LaSalle Bank Theatre, 18 W. Monroe St., in October, 2007, in a co-presentation by Broadway in Chicago and TheatreDreams.

The Jersey Boys national tour kicks off in San Francisco in December and then moves to Los Angeles in the spring. According to Jones, no dates have been announced beyond Chicago–leaving open the possibility that the show will enjoy a long-lasting engagement in a city where the original Four Seasons always sold a lot of records.

Did someone perhaps confuse the JERSEY boys with the ALTAR boyz-- who are indeed touring chicago next month?
