Posted: 7/17/13 at 12:52pmSo I'm planning on doing rush for First Date this Saturday for the matinee and was wondering what time I should arrive. I'm also planning on seeing Jersey Boys in August and I'm planning on rushing too. What time should I arrive at the theatre. Also I know Jersey Boys rush seats are obstructed view, has anyone been in these seats and if you have how were they. Also I've never really rushed for a show where I had to wait a long time so should I bring a chair or do I just look stupid. Sorry for a ridiculous amount of questions but if someone could answer these that would be great! Thanks in advance!

You can bring a chair. You won't look stupid!
I've only done Jersey Boys rush alone, so it might be different in pairs. I've always gotten a seat way off to the side near the staircase. It's fine if you've seen the show before, though.
When I walked past the theatre this morning at about 9, there were about 5 or 6 people in line. It's not always like that, though. (They may be trying to see JLY one more time.)
