Jersey Boys last days OBC

Have any of you been to see the OBC in Jersey Boys over the past couple of days? John LY and Daniel R are leaving soon, so sad! How are they feeling, any Stage door conversations I could hear about?

I'm coming to NYC this weekend and I'm going to attempt to get the standing room tickets I've been asking about. If anyone has any last minute tips for me please share. I better get seats or I'll just die! Wish me luck!

Not really possible. The original Broadway cast hasn't been together since Titus Burgess left.

John LY? LOL.

John is leaving Nov. 21st, or later if he misses days. Daniel Reichard is leaving either January 6th or 8th, I think. I'm too lazy to go check.

As for staying, Bobby Spencer has said he's signed on for another year, and Christian has said repeatedly he won't leave until he secures something else.

I did SRO last Sunday. In fact I tried on last Saturday at 5 but there were 10 people in the line already at that time. I went to the theatre again at 11am on Sunday. There were three people before me. The first two waited there since 8am. However, the line wasn't filled until 12:30am. So it's really hard to predict how early you should be there to guarantee a ticket. Make sure to wear warm cloth cause it's really hard to wait outside in the cold wind for a couple of hours. The SRO is ok. You have some block view of the uppper stage but not a big deal. The two and a half hours passed so fast I didnot feel tired at all.

John Lloyd Young sent me and other fans that have written him in the past a pack of postcards advertising his February concert at Lincoln Center. There was a signed note inside (nice personal touch) asking us to spread the word. He also distributes the postcards at stage door.

I'll definitely miss John Lloyd Young and Daniel Reichard especically for their contributions to theatre, kindness through the years and the meeting I had with them and the OBC/Four Seasons/Brickman & Elice at the BC/EFA event in NYC. They'll always be part of what embodied Jersey Boys to me!
