I read this novel a while ago...GREAT book! The book also has a Judy Garland sub-plot...

I would love to see a production of this!

While I haven't seen the show, I have heard a bunch of the music and it's outstanding. I wish them the best success in Ohio and hope that it makes it way to NY as well...

The show has been kicking around for a while. Lincoln Center passed a few seasons back after funding the intitial workshops. One of the reasons was that Wicked was in the pipeline and the world may not have been ready for two Oz themed musicals.

The novel is worth finding and reading. Very complex and dark.
