Hello -

I'm directing the pit for a local production of JSC - we have a full pit, but I am looking for guidance for the best place to find 'close to the original' keyboard sounds - (2012 remastered edition)

if you have any suggestions, please let me know -

Check out a FB page called Music Theater Directors. Very helpful group for this type of question. Music Directors and Keyboard players from many shows on Broadway, West End and touring shows belong. There's even a secondary group for Mainstage programming questions.

These guys offer complete sets of sounds for a number of shows including JCS: http://www.rms.biz/products/keyboards/

Never used them, and no idea what they're like or how much $$$, but it seemed like a potentially useful resource.
