I have never seen the show. Is it any good? Will the show make a good transition into film? Could it be successful?
The show is very offensive to Jewish Women. I hope they change that every woman sounds and acts like Fran Drescher.
I really HATED the show.

Maybe John Rando can copy all of Tillinger's direction, since he ripped of the Fringe Director on Urinetown.
Although I liked the show, I do not think it will work as a movie.

I disagree... when I saw the show in its original run- back in los angeles before transfering to broadway (and starring the two playwrights may i add) I did not find any of the show offensive. Being Jewish, i was able to relate to the characters, and understand the feeling of pressure by the jewish mother, which was correctly portrayed in the play... truthfully, I think this could make a fantastic film! As long as you have a good director, and the two playwrights star in it, there is oppertunity for success!
oh, and the way marrying a jewish woman means not having to make a decision- So true! ahhhh i love them jewish women!

The creators/actors told me about the movie when I met them back in November. They seemed really excited about it. If done right, I think it could work. Some things need to be changed, but I'd definitely go see it. I love the show and their book too.
Light guy I agree. I did not find it offensive at all.
