"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."
-Kad

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

I think BWW should add a "like" button.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

He was the centerpiece of the Finian's revival. He should be great in this!

I can't think of any performer before the pubic today that would be more "right" for this role. Hope the others are as well-chosen, too. Cheyenne would be a great Tony and Kate Baldwin a fine Alice. And how about Jackie Hoffman as the dipsomanic? It's a fine play from a distant era that still has many points to make today. My best to everyone involved!!!!
