Did any one go last night 14th?  Would love to hear about it

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

All in all a terrific evening.  I'm a huge fan, although I realized last night that this was the first time I'd ever seen her live!  On Drag Race she was an indisputable comic genius so I think I was expecting more comedy, more zaniness, so was slightly disappointed.   I wanted to laugh more, particularly in the second half, which got political (how could it not in these frightening times?) and oddly spiritual (when Jinkx brought out a practicing witch to bless us and the hall).  The political medley was extremely powerful and well-done, perhaps the highlight of the evening.  Last night Jinkx reminded me of '80s Bette Midler, with her unique blend of comedy and pathos.  Of course Midler had THAT VOICE, which Jinkx does not, and a fearlessness that I could have used more of last night.  Jinkx joked at the top of the show about keeping the evening more refined than usual because she was at Carnegie Hall, but then I expected her to drop that attitude.  She did to some degree, but not enough to meet my expectations.  So for me I wanted more laughs and more raunch.  But then again, last night may have been very much in keeping with what she does on a regular basis; remember, this was my first time seeing her live.  None of the above nitpicking takes away from the fact that Jinkx is a singular, extraordinary talent who 100% deserved that stage and that moment and was the undisputed Center of the Universe last night.  I think we're all damned lucky to be living in The Age of Jinkx.
