She was the only one who didn't come out to satge door when I saw it.
I was really upset because she was the one I really wanted to meet.

I don't wait at stage doors, but my friend (who has already seen DRS 10+ times and in OBSESSED with Joanna Gleason) has yet to meet her. Another cast member told her that she goes out a different door every night and doesn't want to meet fans.

I got to meet her after a performance of THE NORMAL HEART. She was sooo incredibly nice. I was standing outside with my mom waiting for the cast to come out and I saw JG. She was standing outside waiting for a cab and my mom was like "Go up to her!" but I was too nervous, but finally I gave in and when I talked to her, she was soo nice and sweet! What a great person and wonderful actress!

the guy at the drs stage door says that she leaves very quickly after the show. i was sad i missed her! but i'm definitely going back.

She does leave quickly. She was out the stage door in less than ten minutes after the first preview.

I worship Joanna Gleason! She's one of the most gifted actors I've ever seen. Brilliant in Into the Woods... how I wish I could see DRS.

Joanna Gleason came out the stage door about 20 minutes after the show this past Monday. Norman and John had already come and gone, we were still waiting for Joanna and Sherie. Joanna came out with a huge coat on, gloves, and a scarf covering almost her entire face. One person recognized her and got an autograph before she explained that she was sick and got right into her car. Sherie also managed to slip out and into a cab without signing. Kind of disappointing how the biggest name in the show was very nice and signed and posed for pictures, while the other two didn't seem to care. Joanna had an excuse, but you'd think that they wouldn't be sick of signing yet. The show isn't even OPEN.

They weren't lying, though. They are actually both sick. Sherie even missed two performances last week.
