re: Joanna Gleason on old Password Plus - Gameshow cable network right now

Didn't get to watch for very long past when I posted the orig. msg .... kept kiddo home from school today, seemed to have a "bug" last night ... he wanted to see his Fantasia video. From what I was able to catch of the show, Joanna seemed to be a good player. How'd it end? lol

timote ... I think it's like ... there must be a word for this phenomenon, but I don't know what it is ... when you first notice something, then you start finding it everywhere. Know what I mean?

loved her in I LOVE MY WIFE and INTO THE WOODS and also on the short lived Bette Midler sitcom, BETTE. But, as someone said, she does have that kind of "frail, plastic look about her." She seems to be doing a great deal of television work these days...obviously still doin theater too. :)

I've been noticing her "pop up all over the TV" since the early 80's - perhaps before. It is a matter of when you become aware. I became aware of her beautiful face and fabulous comic timing on a TV series called Hello Larry, which was a spinoff of M*A*S*H.

Oh, that's right! I almost forgot about her role in Bette! Ahh... I have some great memories from that short-lived series. I almost died laughing when watching the 1980s episode when Joanna had that awful hairdo. It's funny because it's true, we all had horrible hairdos during the 80s.

I think they should release Bette on DVD. They always seemed to give Bette at least one great singing number in each episode.
