apologies if this should go on off-topic ... I wasn't sure ...
just started on GSN ...
Thanks! Oh she looks so Hello Larry!
And she's S-M-A-R-T.
Thanks for posting, I just caught the end! I love GLeason. I had no idea MOnty Hall was her Dad until that Broadway The Golden Age interview.
Joanna is a beautiful woman and a talented actress, but am I the only one who thinks she looks a bit... well, artificial? Like she's made out of plastic? She almost looks exactly the same in old photos as she does now.
And now Pyramid is on with Joanne Worley. Wow, she really really wants to be Liza.
What is Joanna's password? I'm trying to hack into her computer files.

I turned on Fox the other night, and the credits for 'King of the Hill' were on. It said Joanna was a guest star. She's popping up all over the TV!

Didn't get to watch for very long past when I posted the orig. msg .... kept kiddo home from school today, seemed to have a "bug" last night ... he wanted to see his Fantasia video. From what I was able to catch of the show, Joanna seemed to be a good player. How'd it end? lol
timote ... I think it's like ... there must be a word for this phenomenon, but I don't know what it is ... when you first notice something, then you start finding it everywhere. Know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean.
loved her in I LOVE MY WIFE and INTO THE WOODS and also on the short lived Bette Midler sitcom, BETTE. But, as someone said, she does have that kind of "frail, plastic look about her." She seems to be doing a great deal of television work these days...obviously still doin theater too. :)
I've been noticing her "pop up all over the TV" since the early 80's - perhaps before. It is a matter of when you become aware. I became aware of her beautiful face and fabulous comic timing on a TV series called Hello Larry, which was a spinoff of M*A*S*H.

Oh, that's right! I almost forgot about her role in Bette! Ahh... I have some great memories from that short-lived series. I almost died laughing when watching the 1980s episode when Joanna had that awful hairdo. It's funny because it's true, we all had horrible hairdos during the 80s.
I think they should release Bette on DVD. They always seemed to give Bette at least one great singing number in each episode.
Actually, I put lots of pictures of her from Hello, Larry in the joannagleason.com gallery. You're welcome to join the joanna group on yahoo, we discuss a lot of DRS and greg stuff.

I didn't catch her on TV, but I saw her today in DRS, and she was really funny.
