Sorry if this has been covered, but does anyone know if Joe Turner has a rush policy, and if so, what is it?
Thank you for your help!
To answer my own question (and to answer it for those who care to know), Joe Turner does have a student rush and tickets are $21.50 each. I arrived 15 minutes before the show began and purchased my tickets. Unfortunately, I have no idea when the tickets are released.
And to echo the praise already heard on this board: the play is an experience not to be missed. I have seen most of the major revivals this year, and I would be shocked if this lost to any of them. Not only is it the revival of the year, but it is also one of the most transcendent experiences to be had on Broadway.

Yes I know. Another show to add to my docket (reviews are too good and tickets too cheap to pass up).
Geez! I'm seeing 12 shows in the next 3 weeks.
Not complaining though!

Totally agree. I am a bit biased, because I love Wilson, but have not loved all of the Bway productions. ("Ma Rainey..." comes to mind) - This show is brilliant !
Thanks for checking on the rush. I'm going to have to make an effort to see this one too!
I'm pretty sure it's 2 hours before the show. That's generally the rule at Lincoln Center.
My seats were off to the side balcony. Being that the theater is so small, I had no trouble seeing any of the stage.
Got there today at 6:45.
Seat was MEZZ, Row H (last row), Seat 113

Oh I was in about the same seat when I saw the show. Good view from the Mezz.
Worth noting: when I asked for a rush ticket, box office guy turned his head and asked unseen co-worker, "Do we have a rush? Oh. Where do I put him? Oh, okay."
I have no idea what shape the balcony was in, but except for 2 side left rows (maybe about 15-20 seats total) that were mostly empty, I didn't see any other empty seats in the mezz.
Has anyone done this rush lately? I want to see it before it closes (hopefully this Saturday night) and I was just wondering if I had to be there when the box office opens or if I can get there later... that is if there are rush tickets available.
Thanks in advance!
I tried it last weekend, but it was the night Obama was seeing the show, so the fact that they didn't have tickets is wholly unsurprising. That said, GO SEE THIS SHOW. I've seen almost every show that opened this season, and it was the single best theatrical experience I've had this season.
