Has anyone done the partial view at Joe's pub before? How bad is it? If you've sat specifically at table 36, I'm especially asking you :)

There are pillars/columns at Joe's Pub. I think they're the black dots on the map. And they're why most of those seats are marked partial view.
I've done Partial View but either in front or at one of the tables on the side. Closer to the stage (no pillar) those seats have always been fine. One time I sat in the back and it was distracting to be near the table where the waiters went to check in or get things but the pillar wasn't blocking anything. I love those seats. (I'm not fussy about seeing a pillar if it doesn't actually block anything but is just in my field of vision and you usually get a discount.)
Table 36 looks bad because you're right behind one of those columns. And it's not a venue where you can really move around. You're locked in because there are people next to you so all you can really do is twist in your seat.
