Wow, that Search feature is CRAZY.
Anyway, with all the talk of the new Sunday CD (which is apparently already shipping?) I was wondering if anyone received their It's Ony Life CD yet, since it's also from PS Classics and is also supposed to be released on May 30 (the same day as the new Sunday).
I was sad when I saw the updated track list on Amazon had removed the seven transition songs, but according to the PS Classics webiste (http://www.psclassics.com/cd_itsonlylife.html), you'll be able to download the transitions from them for free beginning June 1.
Is anyone else really excited for this/did anyone else see this cast at Jazz back in January or was it just me? It should be an amazing CD. I highly recommend.
According to the liner notes to the CD - "IT'S ONLY LIFE contains seven transitions that serve to link the songs; these were recorded, but due to space contraints, had to be omitted from the final CD. The transition lyrics do appear, however, on the pages that follow and the tracks themselves are available for free download at www.PSClassics.com".
EDIT: Sorry, didn't read your whole message!!!

I know it's probably not the best time, but anyway...I just went to download the transition songs...again, and the date has been pushed back...again.
It went from June 1 to June 11 to, now, June 18.
It's like the new BARE.

The new BARE?
I thought this CD was great. I listen to it more than the new Sunday. It's great. I've fallen in love with Billy Porter's voice.

Hahaha... Here we are again.
The transitions were supposed to be up for download - AGAIN - today and we have:
It's taking us a little more time than expected to get the seven interludes mixed, mastered, and uploaded. We appreciate your patience -- check back with us soon!
The transitions are each less than a minute long. They mixed and mastered the other 79 minutes, how long could it really take them to do another 5 minutes?

Bump.
Because I just went to the PS Classics website to humor myself and see if the transitions were up for download... AND THEY ACTUALLY ARE.
I don't know when they happened, but yay! They're finally up.

I've yet to download the full album (it's on my "to-buy" list) and thought I'd download the transitions to see what I thought. I like them a lot and will definitely be buying the full album in the next few weeks.
Quick question: can anyone tell me where the transitions fit into the show? That way I can throw them in among the album's tracks when I get around to buying it, thus forming an unofficial "complete" recording of the show. Thanks!

Gavin Creel is terrific and has a beautiful voice,
But I would have rather heard Michael Arden
recorded as he did the production 2 Summers ago.
That said it is a wonderful cast
and Bucchino's Music gives me chills.

Agreed Curtain, but they both have beautiful, pure voices.

I never got the big deal about Michael Arden. I think he's only OK.
