John Goodman - Please Come to B'way

Seeing that Goodman is taking to the boards again in the upcoming Geffen Playhouse production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, I was thinking that if Goodman is looking to get back into theatre he should come to Broadway.

It has been a long time since Big River.

I think he could be an incredible Edna in "Hairspray," or really wow us all as Max in "The Producers."

Any other ideas for great Goodman projects?

Anyone know if he might be interested in returning to NYC?

Here's hoping...

He did two shows with Shakespeare in the Park in NYC. "The Skin of Our Teeth" and "The Seagull".

I would like to see him play the father in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons".

He was also in the Original Broadway Cast of Big River.

EDIT* Sorry Dolly, I didn't read your entire first post.

John Goodman will indeed be back on Broadway.

He is my one and only choice to play Horace opposite my Dolly.

I'll buy tickets too!! Now let's see, Channing's Dolly gown was Red, Bailey's was White, Streisands was Yellow.. so, Dollypop, I gather you will be the fourth jewel in the "Dolly Crown" and wear yours in a majestic Royal Blue?? I know you must have all this figured out already, I mean, "Just leave everything to me", right?
