I've been on BWW for nearly two years now and, sad to say, not much surprises me anymore. Honestly, if JLY himself hadn't hopped on this thread, I doubt there would have been any appologies made to this young fan.
And yet I keep posting here because there ARE good people and some genuinely great discussions. It's just unfortunate that there are quite a few posters who seem to be hanging around for something *other* than Broadway, with agendas of their own. I could ask for it to please stop, but I know it won't.
The nature of the internet is pretty weird- people feel safe in ridiculing/criticising others behind a certain (false sense of?) anonymity since there's no face-to-face contact involved. Very shy people can have highly agressive "online personalities" and vice versa. In the end, just like in any other free-for-all playground situation with a mixture of bullies and cool kids, you need to develop a thick skin. Don't let it ruin things for you, JLY's Jersey Gal!

I love Jersey Boys, I love Broadway and, heck, I even love Broadway World, (warts and all).
