John Lloyd Young's future plans...

Posted: 4/23/08 at 2:10amAside from the les mis hollywood bowl, and a few concert things here and there, I feel like John Lloyd Young has been kind of off the radar since leaving broadway. He said in some interview a while back that he was looking through scripts and deciding what he wanted to do next. Anyone know if we can expect a return to broadway soon? It's weird, I can't imagine him really doing anything besides Frankie Valli haha.

I would imagine that's what he's afraid of so he's taking his time choosing just the right piece.

Posted: 4/23/08 at 2:30amIt hasn't even been half a year since he left Broadway! Jeez. If every popular Broadway actor had a turn- over of 5 months before a new Bway role, we'd need 800 shows opening each season. I'm sure JLY will play another Bway role in the next 3 or 4 years. He's excellent.

Is this a problem? His resume includes roles in several regional theatre productions. There is theatre all over New York and the rest of the country. It is possible for actors to have successful careers without ever appearing on Broadway.
